About Employee Drug Testing Services

We connect employers with testing specialists who run drug testing programs, and we publish the reference material HR teams need to run those programs well.

What We Do

Employers come to us with the same problem in different shapes. Someone in HR or operations is responsible for drug testing, the company has grown past the point where a clinic down the road can cover it, and the work has become a program: random selections, post-accident testing at odd hours, supervisors in different states applying different standards, and records that have to hold up if a decision is ever challenged.

You tell us what you need through the form. A testing specialist reviews it and contacts you to scope and price the program: testing reasons, panels, locations, your policy, and volume. From there, testing is handled for you.

What We Are Not

We are not a laboratory, and we do not perform collections ourselves. Testing is carried out by qualified testing professionals in our network, with laboratory confirmation and Medical Review Officer review where those apply. What we do is match employers to the right specialist and keep the process moving.

We also do not work with individuals. If you are an employee or job applicant, we cannot schedule a test or release results to you. Contact the employer that asked you to test.

That is the whole basis of what we do: employee drug testing services for employers who would rather not administer the program in-house.

How We Work

  • Scope before price. Anyone who quotes a per-test price before asking about your panel, specimen type, volume, and DOT status is guessing.
  • Your policy drives the program. Testing has to match what your policy says, not the other way around.
  • No pressure. Submitting the form gets you a conversation. Some of those conversations end with "here is what to fix in your current program," and that is a fine outcome.
  • Plain answers. Including when the honest answer is that something depends on your state or belongs with your employment counsel.

Our Standards for What We Publish

Most of this site is reference material about employer drug testing: federal rules, state requirements, and how testing programs work in practice. HR teams make real decisions from pages like these, so we hold them to a few rules:

  • Primary sources. Legal and regulatory statements cite the regulation, statute, or agency page they come from. Those links appear at the bottom of the page.
  • No invented numbers. We do not publish statistics, prices, turnaround times, or credentials we cannot support. Where a figure depends on your program, we say so instead of making one up.
  • Review dates. Our reference pages show when they were last reviewed. Drug testing law, especially around marijuana, changes often enough that an undated page is not worth much.
  • Information, not legal advice. We explain what rules exist and what they generally require. Applying them to your company is a conversation with your own counsel.

Content on this site is reviewed by the Employee Drug Testing Services team. If you find something that is out of date or wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.

Who We Work With

Our focus is employers running testing at scale, typically companies with a few hundred employees or more, multiple locations, or a distributed workforce, where testing is continuous rather than occasional. Smaller employers are welcome to submit the form, and specialists can usually help, but the programs we are built around are the larger ones.
